RECREATIONAL AND SPORTS CLUB COUNCIL
The Recreational and Sports Club Council (RSCC) is a student based organization consisting of representatives from each individual recreational and sports club. The primary purpose of this council is to provide guidance and supervision for the entire recreational and sports club program. Each recreational and sports club has a seat on the RSCC and has one vote in all matters. The RSCC is a standing committee within the Student Government Board.
The duties of the Recreational and Sports Club Council are as follows:
Develop and implement policies, procedures and guidelines that will govern all recreational and sports clubs.
Promote and encourage interest and involvement in all clubs represented on the council.
Develop solutions related to issues involving funding, scheduling and general club operations.
Act as an action committee to recommend and enforce appropriate sanctions as needed.
Approve the implementation of new recreational and sports clubs and the continuation of existing recreational and sports clubs at their current status.
